e36 exhaust on an e30?

Has anyone tried to do this? I think that the cat should bolt right up, but I don't know how the hangers would work. It would be nice to have options like stromung/remus/scorpion exhausts for our cars. After all, I have seen a few e30 325s running around with e36 M3 exhausts...

yeah a lot of the guys that do the 24v swap use an e36 catback.  Although I'm not sure how easy it goes on or what all it takes to make it fit right.
