Ok, so i have a question. This car i'm looking at has a very sluggish pedal feel. I test drove it, slammed on the brakes and the pedal slowly moved allll the way down, and it took the car a while to brake. The car supposedly has new brakes, i haven't checked with my own eyes though.

However, the car has been sitting for 3 months or less. Could this be the reason for the brakes to feel like so? Or is the master cylinder toast. Could they get back to normal after driving for a while and building up pressure? Should i just change the fluid?

Sounds like air in the system, give it new ffluid and see where you are then. Calipers MAY be sticking a bit too.

Sounds like blow-by in the master cylinder to me. Fluid leaking internally by the MC piston. Just dealt with that myself. New MC solved it. Bleed it, and if that doesn't fix it, it's probably the MC

Could definitely be air in the line, just make sure it's safe enough to get home if you end up buying it! I would recommend putting in Stainless lines, it's the best and one of the cheapest mods I've done so far! It will also require a rebleed anyways. My brakes feel amazing, and the stopping power is excellent with new stock rotors and decent pads.

Edit: As mentioned by Old Dog, it very well could be the MC too. Especially if the brakes were just done? But someone might have done a crappy job bleeding them as well....
