Greetings from the UK :)

My mission is to improve my ride, a LHD 1972 BMW 2002 automatic saloon, and that will be with a conversion to an M42 engine and manual box.

The 2002 weighs in at only 990 Kg (against 1125 Kg) and I think that the acceleration will be 'quite acceptable' (:phee hee!!!) and the MPG will return quite good figures too.

We'll see :)

Any thoughts / advice before I start would be greatfully recieved!!

Safe driving

Sounds very nice project. I suppose you could easily take few extra Bavarian horse from that M42 engine though. Should be as fast as original 2002 Turbo.
