Anyone got experience with Electromotive TEC2 ?

Im trying to have some kind of tuning capabilities to the m42 and i bought this TEC2 a while ago but never seen anyone use it , and i wanna give it a try. experience? anyone ?

Isn't TEC2 old?
I know a lot of people are running TEC3 and TEC3R on bimmerforums.

Don't have any experience with either though…
