You all might shoot me for this, but when i replaced my cylinder head i didnt use the tdc tool you're "suggested" to use, we moved the lobes with channel locks, and turned the engine till the two center pistons were at the bottom, and then put the timing chain in, and rolled the sprockets onto the chain into place. then we adjusted the chain to where the little arrows on each of the sprockets point "up" along with the block.
just holding the cams in place with channel locks and a wrench.
Engine runs fine, you all can start aiming.
but she runs. cant blame me for that one.
