Hi!

Do you still sell the smt6 and would chip me one to germany ? could also be used unit as im on budget :D

also i have a question ... as i understand the piggyback "hacks" into the system before the ECU changing input values from the sensors to trick it and you cant raise RPMs just limit them.

i have one stock ecu and one programmed for 98 octane and with rev limiter at 7500. yes i know its too high for standard engine so i dont rev so high.

is it possible to use the modified ecu with the smt6 and limit the rev to 7000 ? and

does it make sense to use this ecu or is it better to get a chip with all standard values just with raised rev limiter and then start from this point ?

the VEMS website looks super shady...

Howso? Just wondering, because a lot of guys on the 'tech are using it and love it. All the big power swedes seem to love it (Ixer for one). It looks to be a nicer system than ms.
It\'s not paranoia if they really are out to get you.

As of tonight I'm running Autronic SM4 :)

Most bang for the buck = MS no doubt.

Wolf3D from WolfEMS
« Reply #22 on: March 25, 2008, 02:44:59 PM »
Also, since no one mentioned it, Wolf EMS makes the Wolf3D. I bought one, and I was going to put it in my Mazda, but things change. :(

I haven't checked their site in ages.
http://www.wolfems.com.au and http://www.wolfems.com
Used to be different sites, the .com.au being the manufacturer's site. Seems they've got their shit together. :)

I still have mine in the closet. It's a superb piece of kit, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Also, AEM bought them out a bit back. Looks like (from the PICS) that they are using the AEM case, but I know not whether they changed over to the AEM board. That, and they dropped the "3D" from the name. Now, it's Wolf V500.

If you can find a Wolf3D for sale, I'd pick it up. You can check some of the mazda rx-7 forums or some porsche forums.
here is one: http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=740021

I picked mine up new from a US dealer for 1200, mind you this was like 4-5 years ago.

Thanks
