hey mark,  when should i be expecting my chip?

I have not been home for the past 3 days during the day.  I'll send all orders for the USA to my shipper tonight.  He usually mails the orders out on Monday.  Then you should have it by Thursday.

Do you have the O2 sensor installed and working?  Then you should be OK.  The chips are made for stock motors and exhausts, but small deviations in the exhaust are usually OK.   Reducing backpressure requires more fuel, but I doubt it will be running too lean as I richen up the fuel compared to stock.

What have you noticed in performance/tuning differences between cars w/a CAI & magnaflow? Just curious if you have a basemap you could burn me with those. Need every last HP for STS.

What is your opinion on a cold air intake with the M42 in the first place? I'm looking to max out area under the curve, and just curious if a CAI will do ANYTHING for power, or if its just a 7lb weight savings and a lot of noise.

How many miles do you have on the catalytic? It can make a big difference if its clogged or old.

BTW... anyone install their chip recently? How was it the first time you drove with it?

Group Buy has ended, roughly half of you did not send the funds yet

Hi Guys,

the GB is over, please send the funds in so I can ship your order this weekend.   Only about 5 people have paid so far, plus the one Toronto pick-up order.   The people who paid should be getting their chips today or tommorrow via USPS.

You can run anything OVER what it's rated for.

True, any octane over the required octane will be safe, but if you go too high, you can loose power as the fuel burns too slowly.     I had someone call yesterday and tell me how well my 93 octane M20 chip worked in his racecar at mid-Ohio this past weekend with 109 octane!   Now I was expecting it to lose power but he said it worked really well.

Is this GB still alive?

I just got my 318iS last week, any discount (despite the lateness) would be appreciated!
