iBook!! Ha, I was practicing on my laptop because I will be doing my hood soon. I will be doing a small triangular portion of my hood--front driver's side.

I thought of doing the same thing, but not sure it would come out right on a red car. Aslo figure I should the crack under my engine mount first.

Ohhh, crack and engine anything should not be in the same sentence. Good luck with your mount. Yeah, the red is what I'm worried about. We'll see how it goes.

asubimmer--For your fridge, I recommend Krylon Fusion Plastic paint. I'm sure it will get along with your fridge surface.

I actually used vynil stickers. I went to a sign shop and purchased about half a yard of each color. I then cut the vynil myself and applied it.

Actually, i think im alright. I think its the engine carrier thats cracked. Hopefully I can find one and hopfully, it wont cost that much to swap out. If anything, I'll do what some have suggested and get the sucker welded. I guess I'll do my engine mounts too while im at it.

use e21 engine mounts, they're like 1/4-1/3 the price and stiffer.
welding should hold, so if its cheaper thats the way i'd go

Are you going to use tape??  I think that looks great, but don't want to put paint on my baby.  Would love to do it with some colored tape and that way I could just remove it if I ever get tired of it.

Hmmm...not necessarily tape, but similar. It is the same vynil/sticker stuff that is used on business signs.

That's nice.

As for the matter of putting it on a BrillianRot E30, maybe using photoshop to see if you can blend the colors so that it's a more fitting look? I know it wouldn't be the true M3 colors, but it'd still be cool to do.
