Clutch bleeding woes
«

Prior to intall new rebuild motor I pulled off blue clutch hose off hydraulic reservoir. Stuck it back. Got my motor in with strong pedal. Once motor was running I noticed clutch grabbing real LOW. I figured must be air from when I inadvertantly yanked off clutch hose. So today I go to bleed slave and I lost pedal. Over a quart of dot 4 still no pedal. Air coming out too. DO I need to remove slave and exercise piston or was my slave pushed to the brink with an attempt to bleed it? Sorry for being wordy...just giving all the details..

you need to pump the fluid up from the bottom (or the slave). on E30's for some reason they will not blead if you bleed them from the top, or it least in my experience they wont. Find a pump and pump the b. fluid up from the bottom.

Pump up from bottom? I was using a might vac pump on slave bleeder. Are you saying pump into the bleeder back into fluid reservoir? I even tried putting a rag over fluid reservoir and blowing into it to force it from top to botton as opposed to pulling via might vac pump....
