"Let there be light!" - Trunk light mod...
« on: April 27, 2007, 11:01:59 PM »
Finally got off my lazy arse and installed the extra light in the trunk. Makes a noticeable difference and I can actually see stuff in the trunk. The cutout is already there so it's a simple matter of splicing into the first trunk light wires. Takes about 10 minutes.

My highlight of the day.

I have a few extras for sale if anyone's interested.

I actually tried this but doesn't work all that great because the LED light has a very narrow dispersion pattern. I know there are LED's now that have wider dispersion patterns but those are mainly for the LED's to be seen by other people from various angles. It does very little to actually light up anything at any extreme angles.

I never really thought of a hood light. Maybe I'll tackle that next when I get some time.

i have some hella dome lights that i will be installing under the kick panels for the driver and the passenger. they will be hidden and wired into the door dome lights so when you open the door you can see the floor......kinda like the new bimmers. I just havent found time to do it:rolleyes: , when i do it will post a write up.
