I'm getting just over 29 in a car that could definitely use some love.  I drive it really easy though.

How fast are you going?  I can usually pull 30-35 cruising at ~75mph.  I messed with my Wide-band O2 setup and increased it maybe 2mpg.  I might be able to yank another 3-4mpg out of it.  The best way to milk mileage is to go 65mph and not pass unless absolutely necessary.  Accelerating and decelerating is a HUGE mileage eater.

I get just over 30 judging by the little eco gauge at 70 mph, I don't know how accurate that is though because I'm not on stock tires. How much of a difference would larger tires make? (specifically 205/55/15)

BTW my air filter was so dirty that I gained 3 mpg by my calculations after cleaning it and adding injector cleaner.

that tire size is equal to stock tires.  if you look at the tire placard on the driver side door jam or even in your manual, itll tell you what sizes are equal to stock.. 195/65/14 is stock, equal to that is 205/60/14, +1 rim size is 205/55/15 still equal to stock height

and yea a dirty filter will rob you some gas mileage

Above 70mph, your mileage will drop. The aerodynamics and gearing in our cars start a losing the battle at that point.

28-29 average seems decent.
I can drive the wheels off mine, 80+, and hard around town ans such and still stay about 26-28 average. Not bad really, I can get more, but I really like to drive hard.
