trim question

are the trim pieces on the 318's the same as the 325's? are all the years similar?

Be more specific .
What trim pieces are you asking about ?

But this may help , all plastic bumpered (non-M) cars have the same style trim .

Only exception is the black (shadowline) trim bordering the side windows .
This shadowline window trim is only found on the 318is and the E30 M3 .

All the above applies to US cars only as other markets has other styles of bumpers and whatnot .

sorry what i mean is specifically the passenger side fender trim. Would the piece of trim from an 88 325 fit my car? or is it different?

He basically spelled it out, all exterior trim minus the shadowline trim is the same for all US E30 models excluding the M3.
