Under hood fuel line question....
« on: April 11, 2007, 09:05:36 AM »
So I'm in class, but I don't know which lines are the pressure, and return lines so I can run the snap on motorvac.. I found two lines under my intake boot, stacked one over the other, and as far as I can see they both go to the fuel rail, but I cant see which goes to where.. I see the FPR doesn't have a line going to it, so I'm confused.. any help would be awesome :D

UPDATE!!! I figured it out of course after a little head scratching lol SO if anyone needs this knowledge in the future, hopefully it will pop up in their search...
ANYHOO
The fuel lines are located under the intake boot, and stacked one over the other.. Top is return, bottom is feed :) We spliced off the connections and used some ford and chrysler hoses with hose clamps.. Really simple, and damn did it help my throttle response!!

you could also remove both lines (or hoses) and crank over the car to see wich line is the feed line.

its where you run a seperate fuel system to the car, while the fuel you use is HEAVILY diluted whith a cleaner to clear out dirty fuel injectors. ive never actually used the actual snap on tool but i have seen it. i use a gallon of fuel and an old external fuel pump from a mercedes and create a closed-loop system and run the car off that one gallon for about 20 min at idle.

just like jtuner says.....it does wonders. it really helps.
