I would so love to have that, imho, I like s/c better. Probably cuz I'm a hotrodder and it's more common to bolt s/c's to a big block than to turbo it.

very cool. is that an eaton m62? lets try to get him on here to give us some info and figures! with RHD m42s having steering and exhaust manifold running on the same side, S/C is a tidier option for RHD cars. that looks to be a really nice tidy installation too, very nice!

Hey thats my car!

I can't remeber if its a M62 i bought the setup from KOProformance. the tech thats no longer working there said it would work on my car but the intake pipe hit on the brake booster so i d\had to make my own.  As for the belt it works fine, but the olny problem i had is it started to slip after a while so i had to get a smaller one.

custom.

Looks primitive with the VAM, v-belt, and FMU.  But as long as it works, who cares!

Downing-Atlanta makes a bolt-on Eaton blower kit for the M42.  I think it's a more compact unit than this one as I've seen it on a Z3 or something, but not real up close.  I think it's made for the newer E36/Z3 cars, but with minor modifications will work on the E30.

According to them, it's good for another 50 bhp!

Grassroots Motorsports has completed an installation of a DASC on an 318is (e30). Should be in next months issue.
