what do you guys think? I have no plans of doing it but it seems like it would make for a pretty fun track car. anyone know of any sites with info on swaps with this engine into cars? I know you would need a different trany if you want reverse

I think the E30 is too heavy for a bike motor.

idk, a early 318 would weigh very much with one. they can be turboed as well

Haven't people pulled like 400hp from those motors with turbos?  Google "Ghost Rider" sometime.  It is probably all rap videos now thanks to the song, but there was a guy with a turboed 'Busa who was doing 200mph wheelies and highway runs at like 215mph in traffic.  Hell of a bike, not a lot of brains in the riding though!

The Super7 cars have 275 with a turbo.
