Hi there!
I like this new forum!
Here is my problem. Lately, when I floor the car (wot) on any gear, car pulls beautifully at full boost(10psi). When I go to shift to a higher gear and proceed to floor it again quickly, boost stops at 1~2 psi struggles and after couple of seconds slowly starts and builds full boost again. This normally only happens when I shift in high rpms, does not matter what gear I'm in.(Could be 1st->2nd, 2nd->3rd, 3rd->4th or 4th->5th).
I already checked and made sure it’s not my diverter valve, besides I can hear it release the pressure when I'm shifting.
I checked for leaks, found none.
My wastegate opens and closes smoothly when I push it manually, but have not tested it.
I'm not sure but I have a feeling that when the boost is struggling to build that my engine is running extra lean. Is that possible? If your engine is running extra lean will you struggle to build boost?
Could it be my turbo that is on its way out?
Hope you guys can give me some ideas to solve this problem.
Little more info:
turbo is a small pathetic t25 (so it's not a lag issue)
Fuel is controled using PCIII and 30lbs injectors (no RRFPR)
