Problems with engine (coolant in oil)

I overheated the car a year or so ago. It never got into the red but it was enough to crack the head. I think what happened is the head cracked and the combustion gases were getting pushed through the cooling system and it caused the temp gauge to not read as hot as the engine really was.

I then got another head and had it pressure tested. Then when i put it back on the water (coolant) was mixing with the oil. (white on dipstick and oil cap after driving).

So i tore the whole thing down, and it looked like the timing case gasket is where they were mixing. I had the head and block pressure tested, bought a new stroker crank, bigger pistons ect. and just got the whole thing together and the water is mixing in the oil. I really dont think its anything im doing wrong. My guesses are either the front timing case is cracked, or there is a crack in the head or block that only opens when heated up, or im just plain retarded.

i've heard of the surfaces on the lower timing case and upper timing case, where they meet the gasket, being upset, due to the gasket failing.

maybe this has happened to yours?

Besides a pressure test, have you tried a dye test? Rather than guessing, a dye test can help you alot in tracking down leaks.
