Hi-yo
Anyone know how hard it would be to convert my crank sunroof into a motorized?  The motors/switches seem to be pretty cheap, so I'm considering doing it, but I just want to know how big a project it is and if I will need to replace the whole roof panel or not.

Thanks

I've been collecting the parts, but I haven't actually done it yet.

From what I've read, you'll also need a new headliner (the black plastic part that goes around the manual latch and under the sunshades) and a motor mount plate.  I'm unsure how the plate is mounted.  The panel, pullys, tray, etc is all the same electric or manual.

One of these years, I'll get around to starting this project and I'll do a writeup with pictures.
