Hi!
I found this forum thru the swedish site, autopower.se.
I don´t really have the 318is that was build in Germany, i have a 318i touring 1993 fitted with the m42 enginge and transmission from a scrapped 318is 1990:D
This is the car i can´t understand why BMW didn´t build, the m42 enginge fits the touring really well.
I will add some pictures to this thread in the future.

So it's an E36 touring?  I really wish that BMW would have brought the E30 and E36 touring's over to the states, they are awesome.

Wasn´t the touring sold in USA?
Mine is E30 touring, the E30 was made as touring and convertible to the autumn of 1994.

Welcome.

I have seen several models available in EU that we never see.  There is an
E46 "Ti" model that is strange looking.

It sold under the name BMW Compact. Is that model not available in US?
The model was aimed to customers who bought the VW Golf/Rabbit GTI and similiar models.

I hope to update this thread with picures of my car this weekend.

Yeah, that Volvo is pretty pimp.  What front air dam is on that car on the trailer?

My english isn´t that good, so i don´t know what you mean by "front air dam", it could be the holes where the foglights was, they were removed before i bought the car.

The beloved Volvo was bougt just $600 (4500 swedish krona), you don´t get so much Volvo for that money. I had it during the winter of 2005, it was really fun in the snow, and it was also used to promote a website as you can see in the pictures.
It was called "LogLady" after the character in the TV-Serie Twin Peaks.
It was later sold to my sister for spareparts.

So, back to the Touring then:)

It's the same late model front valance we have, except he has no fog lights nor covers. That black 318is looks pretty nice for a parts car lol. Nice touring but isn't the M42 a bit underpowered for such a big car?

Sorry, I meant the part under the front bumper.

Yeah, now that I look at it again I see that it is a normal one.  It looked like an mtech 2 when I first glanced at it.

More pics of the touring!!!
