A couple of pics
« on: March 22, 2007, 11:42:02 AM »
Here are a couple of pics from about a week ago that a friend of mine took of the 318is.  Yes I know my lip is beat to shit, thats the problem with loosing it at the track in a spin, in the winter, and rubbing it on most curbs into and out of stores around here.  Other then that I really like them, this one might turn black to cover up its abuse and I think it will look pretty good.  Oh and the weaves are my winter wheels, but I still love how they look.

Enjoy:

Nothing beats a red E30, and yours has great paint.

IMO the lip looks better in red. I saw a black one the other day, and it made the rest of the car look almost "dirty" and darker than it really was.

Nice paint. I love the contrast of brillantrot and the black grill.

^Thanks still the original paint.  Thankfully it lives in a garage most of the time so it has really helped to keep this car nice, even in Michigan with shity winters and too much salt.

Damn, that's awesome. My original paint is fading, going to turn pink soon if I don't give it a paintjob.

Nice...I wanna see some side shots. :)

...and I keep noticing how beautifull the basketweaves + (plastic) E30s are.

That's exactly how my first 318i was!! after waxing and buffing just one day later it was back to pink!

Back on topic, car looks good!

Zaino products will cure that.  Their 3 part wax is awesome at sealing single stage paint. Zymol also just came out recently with a product called Rouge(specially for single stage red) its awesome, look at my hood.

that car was never pink but pretty faded I waxed with Zymol cleaner than Zaino 3 part wax and a few months later tried the Rouge on it. SOO deep and red I love it.
And Nick be glad you got that beautiful paint and clean car to start with:D

Damn, that's impressive. I really should have listened to a friend who suggested I buy a red e30 when I was shopping for my car.

Hi I'm new here!

I really like your car! It's my favourite color!

I just did a small modification to one of your picture to show you and the other members my ''skills'' with photoshop and if you guys appreciate what I did on the picture, just ask me and I'll try to edit your pics too!

Here's what I did

before

after

I know it's not an impressive photo editing but I think it makes the pic look better and it was just a way to introduce myself!

So if you like my work, just ask and I'll try to modify you pics!

P.S. English isn't my first language so some of my sentences may not be right
