Any time you move beyond general maintenance, realism starts stepping back into the shadows.

It's just a matter of how enthusiastic you are, and how deep your pocket book is!

That's excatly the point. If you trow away all sense and realism you can and may spend fortunes to a project which does not have any point. Just doing it for fun and experience.
