Hey all. My name is Nick and I drive a 91 318i. No pics yet, but soon I should have some. It's not pretty anyways :P. I recently purchased it for $800 locally. When I got it, it came w/ Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks. It needs body work, and a radio, but its a great car. It's down right now, got into a little accident and crack the oil pan...... but it'll be up and running again very soon. I was going to abandon all hope for the M42 before I found this site. Now, we'll see what happens... :D

I've been looking @ many options for the M42. I like what I've seen. You guys should have a section just for performance though... just my 2 cents :P

and where do you guys purchase M42 mods?

I use a number of suppliers.  Not much for me on ebay.  BavAuto is always good for me.  Their customer service is tops.  Andy Lund has an E30.  Also, check with the guys from here.  The members have great stuff to sell.  I have gotten quite a few products from fellow M42ers and been real happy about it.  Good luck and keep us posted!
