Silly header gasket question

Header gasket  stainless  steel  side  face which way?  I'm thinking towards the header since the header face looks like stainless  steel. Correct me if I am wrong....

I think the stainles side goes towards the header. BTW, I'm very confused about your picture, what does it have to do w/ anything about headers?

Yeah  Stainless steel to stainless steel.   Confused... No worries.  1/2  of the  country is...   Just a pix of my custom oil  baffle...

Hmm, I may have to do something like this when I check the upper pan bolts...*wallet getting lighter already*
