Low oil pressure/flow during startup only???

I park the cars facing downhill 95% of the time in the driveway. I never paid close attention to the car reacting differently when pointed uphill.

Please can you just try it one time to park uphill, and listen to the start up.  i would really thank you if you do so, and then let me know if there was a more quiet start up or....
For me, if i parking up hill for over night then i have much less or none at all of the ticking..... strange :confused:

Hmm the 318i is in the garage now as the rack is leaking and spotting the driveway. It will take my lazy butt sometime to test this theory out for you but when I do, I'll post the findings. :p

IIRC all airbag racks are the same regardless of m42 or m20 origin.

Mine ticks on startup, but only a second or 2.

When it is time for a change it ticks longer.
Fresh oil also ticks longer for a day or 2.

10w30 Syntech year round 0-100 degrees F. (it sits in the garage, so it never goes to 0, maybe 30).
