So I pulled the head over the weekend, and I found some oil in the intake system, not a lot, but some to take notice.

I know that some blow back is normal, but how much is too much? It was pretty much on the surface throughout the intake manifold and aftercooler. Not enough to drip, but if touch the wall inside you will get some oil on your hands.

Now to give you a back ground. The car is only driven about 5K miles year max, and it is mostly all track, or dyno.

It is very normal for your situation. I also have it since I tend to drive in the upper rpms on the streets.

If it's primarily a track car, I would recommend a catch can.

How does a catch can work?  Does it drain through the valve cover breather or something?
