Adding New Category to Paper And Plastic?
« on: February 22, 2007, 08:46:39 AM »
What do you guys think about adding a separate category for "Cars" ?

I think it would help make the classifieds section a lot more organized..

Opinions?

At this point, I don't see the need.  There are so few new postings daily that it takes almost no time to scan them all anyhow.  I'd rather see them all at once and not have to go to another section.

well picture it this way.

it will be much easier to scan through a section that has just parts for sale.

if you happen to be searching for a car, you won't have to sift through all of the parts that are up for sale.

i just think it will be more organized with two separate threads.

more people need to chime in!

Split it - that way, in the future, when we have total domination of all M42-related Internet traffic and page after page of new stuff every day, we won't have to go through the hassle then.

Split.  Cleaner and there is a good amount of vehicles showing up on Craig'slist to keep it busy in the first place.

I like the idea.  I don't think we "need" it right now but I think we are getting there fast so we might as well go ahead imo.

Yep.
If we were getting nearly a full page per day, I could see splitting it up, but not right now.

Personally, I think we have too many forums as it is.
When you see a forum with too many and only so many posts, it makes it look like nobody's home.
