NEW PICS ON PAGE 2!

OK!!! JOKES ARE OVER!!!! SORRY FOR THAT.

Hi everyone. :)

Car: Alpineweis 1991 (01/1991) BMW 318iS

Mods: Stock

My name is Vladimir (Vlad). I have always liked the E30s. I never had anybody influence me to like them I just always did. So one day I was originally looking around for a Honda CBR600RR and I came across (dont ask me how...seriously) a slightly damaged Diamantschwarz 1991 BMW 318iS. So, I just got it knowing nothing about e30s. Obviously I got on the NET right away and started searching everything about the e30s. I came across this site and fell in love with my car even more knowing that it is unique and somewhat rare.:D

After learning a lot of things about these cars I got myself an Alpineweis M42 ----> THIS BABY (man I love her...my friends think I am crazy):

Everything about it is in excellent condition...and I mean it.

HERE IT IS!

AND HERE!

INTERIOR!

EVEN HAS THE LEATHER FOLDER WITH OWNERS MANUAL, ACCESSORY CATALOGS AND THE TAPE!!!

THATS MY LIL CUZ CLUBED AFTER TOUCHING MY CAR WHEN I TOLD HIM NOT TO. hehe

Thanks for checking it out. This is a really great place and I am planning to participate more and more and especially can't wait to start modding my new M42.

P.S. I will questions and I hope you'll be cool with that.

What do you like better, your 318is or the integra? :) Honestly now.

Awesome interior!  It looks perfect!  Sorry about the body shop screwing up your car, that sucks.

By the way, what part of Norcal you from?

Thanks to Brad at http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/7567/ticevalleysiggv7.jpg">Shutterflick.com for editing the sig.

I like both of them...honestly...but I have to have special love for the 318iS because everyone that I know gives me shit about it (except a few) and I really like the RWD part of it.

Yes they are amazing. I am planning for a cruiser that can go to the track and compete with the likes of Lotus and Evo.:D

I can if I really wanted to, but I already spent too much. The engine and tranny is strong.

That sucks.:(  How did that happen?

Yours looks bad but I would rather have your damage...body work in the quarter area sucks, especially when it is pulled out too much and bondoed. I can't even put side trim in.

My son hit a truck! Check out "viewer discression advised" in the appearance section for the whole story and pics (page 3). Why don't you get a used quarter panel and have a good shop throw it on? I had the other side done on mine after a roll over and it looks perfect. With the right gear, it's not that hard.(less time than reshaping and bondo = less$) By the way, why don't you go after the shop that did it that way?

i had a similar issue with a 318i, right behind the passenger door, beneath the glass. Someone had kicked it (don't ask) and left a huge dent. I realised that i could push it back out from the inside carefully, if i removed the panels and seats to provide access. I wasn't perfect, but it gives the paintless dent removal guys a head start.

So how's the car coming along? I am guessing you allready fixed it?

About fixing my the car..I was gonna go fix it and go after the shop but decided against it. Less headaches. I already found another nice M42:) .
