hello guys,sory in advanced for my bad english.
So im planing to build a m42b18 turbo build e36,i bought the car in rought shape ,drove it for 8k km and the starter ,front crank seal and chain tensioner already died. the engine will be rebuild soon and is planed to be boosted between 0.6 bar(8,7psi) and 0.8 bar(11psi), lpg or petroll
I have red alot for the last 4 months,mostly from this forum and i think i am still not sure about some stuff so i would like to have some information before i start. the car will be a daily, the engine is 93 e36 the head is from an e30, gearbox m43.
From what i have red it will be good if i put 11 or 12mm head struds because the head will be the weakpoint, for turbo i can use 325tds 96+ turbo (td04-13-04) or saab/volvo turbo (not sure which turbo) i have ideas how to make the manifold and tubing but realy struggle to find a good second hand turbo option to run 0.6-0.8 bar of boos (i will decide on the dyno day) , i want to have a bottom turbo and ac for the hot bulgarian summer
