No need to compress it, you want it to be extended before you start the engine. It is VERY bad to run the engine with it compressed, even if the "official" procedure says to do that. Basically, the chain will be loose and slap around a lot until it can cause the tensioner to pop open. It is much better to put it in extended so that the chain will remain tight at all times, even if it is more difficult to install like that.

Ok , did the test sound almost dissapeared still have some noise at start up, the E36 throttle does not have the play that E30 has, anyway i'm taking the car to a good friend that has a shop and i think he will get it right  :)

however i can't find this type of throttle body in the junkyards/ebay

When you said "did the test sound almost dissapeared still have some noise at start up" what test did you do? If you meant that putting in the new chain tensioner caused the noise to be reduced, then it seems like the timing chain system has worn-out or damaged components. I know that you said that touching the throttle plate caused the noise to go away, so I'm a little confused. Honestly, after watching the videos again, I am not sure that I can tell which noise you are trying to eliminate.

One year later sound is still there, changed the timing chain tensioner but no luck. After further investigation appears that noise comes from the starter motor/gearbox area.

Aaaand yes , the noise comes from flywheel , the crown was loose appears that welding spots failed, will be welded again and since everything is taken apart also clutch will be changed . :)

Just to confirm, clutch changed and flywheel repaired all good. Much quieter.
