hi guys,
anyone know if the motronic timing relies on the load signal?

2.1 200bhp, 175ft/lbs 318is
E46 330ci daily

Yes.  The AFM provides the Load input, and the ignition timing maps are definitely influenced by it.  And obviously the fueling is too.

cheers, i thought so, just couldn't remember whether it was just rpm-based (and obv all the enrichments) for the timing. you're 100% on that yeah?
