Looks like a good list so far, I'd say run with that and we can adjust fire as necessary.  My $0.02.

I think you might have too many subtopics in your discussion forum...  Will questions get posted here or in a specific subtopic?  Perhaps evrything could go in the 'General Technical" then get moved archives for saved threads in the particular topic: Engine, Electrical,Suspension (etc., etc.)  Other forums I visit have a lot of special topic areas so unless you go out looking, you don't know what is being discussed.  I like to be able to read other members questions or statements even if I don't have a response, but if there are too many cubby-holes to look in I won't go looking.  I would also suggest you not attempt to assume the role of defining "objectionable material" for members, because that can turn into a real hot button.  Just use power of moderator to remove what you find objectionable.  The 914 board i attend is really struggling trying to keep all members satisfied by establishing rules based on the intent to not offend anyone.  Offense is just not universal,so now people on both ends of the "objectionable material" spectrum are PO'd.

Excellent list.

How about a forum for board suggestions/questions? In fact, can someone enlighten me on how to enable quick reply?

May I also suggest a regional board for gtg's and the such. That would be awesome.

Quick reply has been enabled... i doing it right now (lemme know if there are any quirks)

I added a REGIONAL topic area, for now, lets do one thread per region; we can reorganize as it gets filled in...

in regards to the cubby-holing of topics... I totally agree, but for the time being, maybe try the New Posts feature and if it continues to be a problem we can re-evaluate and find a consensus.

Yeah, I sorta figured it would mostly be covered in member's profiles, but you've got it!
