E30 M42 / E36 M42 heads swappable?

Hi,

Can one fit E30 M42 head to E36 M42 engine? :confused:

I need to buy a spare head to be modified and there are two available, one for E30 and one for E36. I have E36 :)

Argh, of course...

I need lighter 6 mm stem valves... So E30 head is out of question I'm afraid :(
