hey, what fuel are they tuning the chip to use? whats the redline?

i asked over on bimmerforums but they haven't responded..

I'm also curious to know.

Also, how long until the sale is over?  I'm wanting to place an order before the price jumps back up.  **Scratch that, just read that its going to be just a few more days.**

I also don't know what my ECU number is.  Nearly zero mechanical knowledge here...  I don't know if this helps but I'm still limited to 122mph or so... And my tach is able to redline.

They are user-tunable, but you have to order the "Tuner's Kit" which costs more. The kit hooks up to your laptop and allows you to tune the fuel and timing maps with a computer. Way cool.

I haven't photoed the 318i yet, but here's the one on my M5. You'll be very happy with the build quality.

hmm, looks like they put their label on an SMT-6 piggyback unit.
