Identifying Flywheel

Very new to the m42.  Bought a motor for a swap and the PO claims that it is a motor from Germany.  It is out of a 93 318is NON-AC car.  From what I've read so far (I have read every thread on flywheels) I still can't figure out what flywheel this is.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks,

Looks like my old m40 single mass flywheel, good for lightening.
But what diameter and steel or aluminium?

I thought that it might be based on the car that it came of (from what the PO says).  Looked up the part number on the sprung clutch disk and it's a 215.  That further increased my believe that it might be in fact a m40 flywheel.  If i understand correctly, the "dual mass" FW were two pieces.

It is steel and weighs in at 20.5 lbs (from my bathroom scale). 

Just trying to get some clarification before i start ordering parts.

Clutch shows PN 1 223 290.  It's a Lux and there is a large E on it also but i don't know what the E references.

Yes all m40 318i euros came with single mass flywheel that I have seen, took me by surprise when I opened a m42 and saw that dual mass thing. 
In saying that though all 318i update 88 onwards had air conditioning in Australia anyway. If it's 215 mm I'd have to say that is what it's from.

Good candidate for lightening. You should be able to get a lot of weight off it.

E is for air in German.

All ECE 318is with M42 engine and without AC came with single mass flywheel. Flywheel is the same in models e30 M40, M42 and E36 M40, M42, M43 and E34 M40, M43. Partnumber is
11 22 1 739 315.

Pressure plate is LUK not LUX. M42 pressure plate is stiffer than M40 or M43 pressure plate. It is used in E30 and E36 models that came with M42 motor and single mass flywheel.

Best option is very old M20 flywheel from models E12 520, E28 520i -> sep. '84, E21 320, 323i and E30 320i, 323i -> sep. '84. Flywheel weights in at 6,3kg = 13,9lbs. Clutch is 228mm.

I know it's kind of splitting hairs but with flywheels you are trying to reduce rotational mass ie larger diameter equals more rotation mass or centrifugal force. Id stay m40 flywheel unless your going forced induction.

Thanks guys.  Now I need to find a shop that will lighten thi FW.  It seems that no one local will touch the BMW stuff.  "To expensive to order the parts to do it" is the basic response I'm getting.
