m42-idle problems
« on: November 19, 2015, 03:09:45 PM »
i just finished to swap an e36 m42 in my e30 and i started to have some problem. when is warm, the engine is stalling and have an erratic idle. i noticed that this happens commonly when i have light on, music on, blower on or any kind of electric consumer. if i close light for example, its ok for some moments and after that starts again until he dies. i just changed the battery with a new one bigger, new vacuum hose, new gasket for intake manifold, new sparkplugs, new oil and filter but the problem is not solved. before swap, the engine doesn't have this problem, or i didn't noticed. any ideas? see below video with my car

You should check the O2 sensor.
