Orientation of Conforti chip on ECU??
« on: November 12, 2015, 05:41:29 PM »
All the information I can find online says there should be a small indentation on my chip to show which direction it plugs into the board. My chip does not have any indentation on it. It's an older chip, has a 'Bonneville Motor Werks' label on it. Part number 1750-3000.

I did, my chip had a small dot from a sharpie on one side so i guessed that was the 'notched' side and luckily i was right.

Installing it backwards simply won't start the car. No damage can come from it
