Hello Everyone, I just joined the forums here. My car has a M42 (as far as I can tell) and there isnt really much done to it atm. I just put a new diff in it, Im in the process of re-doing the entire interior, and have some rust issues to sort out as well. Mine has 232k on the clock and runs fairly well, it has a slight misfire but I dont know if that is because of the lack of back pressure from the exhaust being removed atm for the diff replacement. I would like to turbo it, however Im not looking for crazy power, just enough to help it get up and go should I need it, and I would like reccomendations for a budget friendly setup. Im only looking for a max of 12psi as I plan to swap the engine with something much more powerful should I blow this motor, but I would rather not do that as this car should be enough for me once I get it driving down the road again. Ideally Id like to stay under $3k if possible (cost of parts alone, no tune or labor) as my budget has a WAF attached to everything. (I hate the WAF, its always a killjoy)
