Hey I'm back...
« on: January 15, 2007, 02:08:04 PM »
Sorry I've been MIA... as some of you know, I got hitched, moved, started a straight job --its been extremely time consuming and I've had to uh, be productive.

Anyway, I'm going thru my PMs etc. etc. and will start getting re-acquainted.

The car is running well, I have a ton of little things to deal with.

Thumper3ld, dude8383, sheepdog, et al... thanks for your help through all last year and here's to an M42-astic 2007!

Welcome back!
How is the car running?

Congrats. :)

Does this mean you'll have to sell the car once you guys decide to have a baby?

Hey car is running okay... I drive it like, once a week, very sad.

The major issues are minor ones, but I still need to get the engine in tune. Mark D never really got back to me, so I'm in the long (annoying) process of finding a tri-state shop that can tune the car.

I'd like to stay with motronic but only because I know so little about the alternatives. If someone has a good primer or there is anyone one this board (I know there are a few) who are successfully running another mgmt system on a DAILY DRIVER (I don't wanna have to reboot my car at red lights) pls advise.

So, the big picture is I'm trying to scrape together enough loot to get a house somewhere outside of the 5 boroughs with a real garage. It's going to take a long time. that's kinda the dream.

My brother in law just knocked up his wife so I'm off the hook for at least a year... whew!
