e36 m42 bad indle

Hi i bought a m42b18 engine and rebuilt it. But now engine strugles with bad idle and little bit high temperature. No fault codes, cam and crank sensors seems to be fine, checked the resistance. No vac leaks. Lambda is ok. AFM is ok. ICV seems to be fine.  when starting the engine the idle is bumpy and bit later its ok. When driving and return to idle it stalls sometimes. Please help.

I'd check for vacuum leaks, especially the hoses under the intake and the intake bellows for the throttle body.

It is normal for a rebuilt engine to run a little hotter for awhile, until the parts wear in.
In Saying that though it should only be marginal and not easily detected, so how much of a temperature increase are you talking about?

Bad idle go for vac leak and icv valve. Crank and cam sensors, but you have already done that.

I hope my cylinder head is not bent. Now engine is driven 1000km. Still high temp, and bad idle. And sometimes i feel loss of power. Trying to accelerate 1 and 2 gear nothing happens i have to floor it to get it moveing like it should. And still i dont think its movieing like it should.

How can i get to temperature sensor without removeing intake manifold. Can it be temp sensor fault?

found that my engine is stalling when removeing oil filler cap. I thing the vacume is bit to much. Need to find a new ccv.
