Thought I'd finally post up some pics of my ride.  I have had it for about 4 months now, 1 of those in a sling as many of you know.  I was hoping to take more pics up to this point, but the injury is behind me now.  I just need nicer weather again!  I'll definitely post more in the future.

I'm the 2nd owner and purchased it just shy of 75k miles.  The old man that bought it, passed away shortly after getting it =(  The wife kept it as a 2nd car and kept it up to date on service at the dealership.  The son, about 40 now, took it over about 5 years ago.  The interesting part was that he was in Germany for 3 of them.  I guess his pops had an 87' MB in mint cond, so he is driving that now.  Anyways, that's how I got lucky enough to get it and enjoy the hell out of it!  I also have all the maintenence records back to '91 :D

It's not perfect, but obviously in pretty nice shape.  The nice thing is that I take the train for a short commute downtown, so I tend to put way below average miles on my cars per year.  I mostly drive to get out of the city, and to my buddies' that live on the outskirts.  I'm also a big cyclist, so I ride to friend's alot in the summer.  Right now it's sitting at 76,400 after driving it 5.5 hours ea over xmas.

Here it is the day I bought it and where I bought it.  It came with the bike rack, the Borbets, and 14" steelies with winters on them.  Right now it's rolling on the 14s w/o caps.

I was planning to take more this day a couple of weeks ago, both int and ext, but my gf left me with my battery blinking.  Only got off a couple of shots before it died.

Oh yeah, it's basically stock right now.  I've just been getting it up to speed mechanically, and it has its share of projects trust me.  I'm shy to do major mods right now with such a low mileage stocker that runs like a top =]

Lookin good. I missed seeing your car when you came by before.

I'm not sure if you're driving around winter with the roof rack or not but my friend with the same roof rack noticed a mpg difference with it on and off on his 325es.

BTW, show us some of your skills with more photos of your ride. If you can, list the manual settings used. I'm always interested in studying the various settings to get various shots.

Sweet car man.  Looks like it is pretty damn near perfect.  That shift nob isn't original though is it?  It looks like it has a 6th gear thing on it.

Thanks to Brad at http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/7567/ticevalleysiggv7.jpg">Shutterflick.com for editing the sig.

Thanx guys!  I'm glad Denis pushed me into finally posting up what pics I have at this point.

The paint isn't perfect, and it has a couple of spots of surface rust on the trunk lid I will knock out in the spring.  It does clean up nicely at least, and for a Midwest car it's pretty damn good =]

It does look like there's a 6th gear, I never noticed that.  It's just a highlight running through 5th down through the knob.  I do have the rack off, I'll only put it on when I'm actually using it.  It needs a good cleaning too, it's in my basement waiting for a good re-lube that I haven't thought about till now.

I was off on the mileage, I drove in today b/c I have to work late.  It's at 75,998 :D

Feel free to stop by anytime if you want to touch up those rust spots with POR-15 so it doesn't spread any further, especially in the snow. I have some clear POR-15 left over.

So, I have to ask...
How did you get that head unit in?
I believe I have the same one...
Doesn't it have an RCA plug (I really have no idea whatsoever)....
The E30 wiring harness (I'm a noob sorry if I use bad terminology) and the head unit aren't compatible...
Did you get some sort of converter... Or what?
o.O

I\'m just a kid. I lack knowledge.
