c9 code emission (lambda) control?

my e30 has trouble starting and idling. when i drive it around the neighborhood power kicks on and off jerking the car around. it acts like it wants to die. i have replaced the maf sensor, cam/ crank sensors, spark plugs. i replaced the plugs bcuz the po had put autolite crap in it and when i pulled the boot on cylinder 2 it was swimming in oil. the valve cover was leaking, so i replaced the gasket and now its dry as a bone all the way around but its still doing the same thing. i dried out every thing i even replaced most of the crap hoses to rule out any vacuum leaks and as an extra step i did a leak test and came up with nothing. the car had previously had the cam/ crank code pop up but since i replaced them the code hasnt come back, the wires looked really shitty too. when the car sits at idle and i rev it, the emission control code is the only one that shows but when i drive it around air flow sensor and o2 sensor codes pop up? from wat ive gathered it cud be a # of things like the 02 and maf along wit other things. so ill try a compression test just to eliminate that possibility. also i have replaced the fuel pump since the original one crapped out on me nd it ran fine for a while before all this. sorry for writing a book but i wanted to give out all the info on wats going on if anyone has any experience please help me out

would a fuel tank breather valve keep my car from idling properly or not at all?

i replaced the o2 sensor yesterday and its still acting the same. i also tried the wires and no difference. i then thought maybe its the icv so i cleaned it and tested it, its good. i checked the tps and no difference either so im at a loss

Check for leaks at the valve cover gasket, at the oil fill cap, at the oil dipstick, the hose that runs from the intake manifold to the fuel pressure regulator, and at the vacuum hoses that run to the brake booster and the charcoal canister. (sounds like you did most of this already) . Also check your injectors & Injector o rings. A very uncommon problem but i have heard it happen to a few is a faulty coolant temperature sensor or switch. 
Check your front & rear crankshaft oil seal to make sure its not leaking or damaged, Also Check your Oil pan to make sure its not cracked and the gasket isnt leaking or damaged.

Another thing you should check (which is Free) is your RELAYS!! make sure your dme & Fuel pump relays are in good shape! They can make the car do all kinds of crazy things if they are bad. thanks for all the ideas guys  i did a fuel pressure test and found out that i didnt have enough pressure. it was around 15psi which is way low shud be round 50 i believe. i replaced the fuel pump a while ago so i went to go check it and it turns out i forgot to put hose clamps on the hose connecting the pump to the assembly which didnt allow it to build proper pressure in the fuel lines. of course this was one of the last things i checked but at least i figured it out. hopefully this will help someone out always start with the basics
