What's in your tool box ?
« on: January 09, 2007, 01:37:49 AM »
I'm thinking of Auto X this year. I'm also thinking that it would be good idea to have some tools in the car in case something goes wrong. So let me ask the question, What is in your tool box and what are your top picks when you are heading to the track for the weekend?

Usually once you're going to get your runs you wont have much time to do anything besides change tire pressures and shock settings... maybe set toe. Unless you're going to run a couple sessions that day and want to change something mid day.

I like to take an air tank, pressure gauge, all the stuff to change a tire (a real floor jack and at least one jack stand) and the stuff to tighten a wheel bearing. The wifes car gets prepared the night before with removal of the rear seat and a little more agressive alignment and wheel/tire change.
