The standard bearings are just fine. All new bearing sets include a 360deg thrust bearing (unlike the original 180deg).
The coated bearings can be helpful in a situation where you have low oil flow to prevent further damage. Outside of that its not really shown to have much gain. I ended up putting coated bearings in my engine because they werent much more expensive.
You don't need a 360deg oiling ring. Very few modern engines do. If the 220deg ring is good enough for the high revs of the S54, its just fine here IMO.
