Hello guys. I have a 95 318is m42 with a broken engine and i want to swap the engine (engine block and cylinder head) from a 92 318is. I also want to keep everything from my car like the ecu, valve cover, a/c compressor, ignition coil, alternator, serpentine belt and tensioners, vibration damper and pulleys. Also the intake manifold and everything that goes with it.

- The 92 m42 doesnt have a/c so belts and tensioners and others are different.

Are all the above swappable or i have to make any modifications or buy some parts?

Yes Should all be swapable. Just unbolt the acnillaries and their mounings and transfer them across.

I saw your pm. The old motor is allready installed on a friends E36 drift car project, just to move it around.
