has any one seen this turbo kit seen daily for sale on ebay?
if so was it any good? what other mods did you need to do?

From what I have heard this is not a good turbo kit. Most of the parts are universal and require fabrication, Also The turbo and the piping are some generic Chinese parts that I wouldn't trust. It is possible to make this kit work how ever I would avoid it. Search the threads around here for turbo builds to get a good idea on what works with our engines.

Might want to look into the kit that JakeB has put together. It looks well thought out and made,  I think he has it posted here somewhere, but it's also on rev.

The only part thats potentially any good is the manifold. Even then its questionable.

For a full kit look at JakeBs as mentioned. For a manifold I would look at Otis (Good&tight) on R3V.

There are lots of turbos the M42 is suited for that are not made in China. Anything genuine really.

Do you mean a full turbo kit? As far as I know Jakes is the only one. You could have him swap out the China turbo with a genuine Garrett if you want.
