BMA shipping costs
« on: January 04, 2007, 03:44:35 PM »
Just a heads up:

I ordered a gasket and seals from BMA and they were going to charge me $12.50 to ship the .79lb package UPS ground!  This was over 40% of my total order cost.  Anyways, after talking to a rep, the site tends to over-average the shipping costs and they refund the difference.  In this case, she said it was an oversight and refunded $8.  If shipping seems outrageous, definitely contact them for a refund.  They were nice enough about it and took care of it right away, just make sure to check your order after it's processed.

BMA has free shipping for orders over $50!
I try to order that way and will sometimes buy extra stuff I want or will use later ($10-$20 more) just to hit $50.
And there's a discount for E30Tech members on the upper right of their page. If it comes up something else just reload until the BMA ad comes up - it's 5%.
All that aside, I would way prefer to buy from them for even money or even a little more for the service, dependability, knowledge they have of E30's - especially Patrick as noted above.

Arizona Autohauz - Great Price / OK Service / Free Shipping over $50
Bimmerparts - OK Price / Good Service / Very fast shipping(usually 2 days for me at least)
