Mtech 1 question

I put an mtech wheel in my car an I was hoping someone could tell me the name of the part that adapts the horn contact and has the plastic part on it for turning off the blinkers. And if so where I can find one

Are you talking about the plastic white pin with the spring around it?  Because that is for the SRS steering wheel(s).  I am not exactly sure what you're asking (pics help), but I have this steering wheel installed in my 318is and after I got the spacing properly gapped between the steering column and backside of the steering wheel with washers, it cancelled the blinkers just as normal.

The steering wheel has a tab that is used to cancel the turn signals.  This tab is integral with the wheel itself, so if yours is missing you will have to get another steering wheel or attempt to repair the plastic tab.  It's not something you can buy.

Colin is right - it's a plastic ring that comes with the wheel, at least on an E30 like the on in your sig.  You might be able to salvage it from another wheel.

Also note that you might have the tab on the wheel, but it's too far away from the turn signal.  The airbag wheel is thicker than a non-AB wheel; just move the spacer from under the steering wheel.  Put the wheel on first, then the spacer, then the nut.  Be sure your turn signal stalk is centered before you do this.  Also be aware that the control stalks for the AB and non-AB cars are different.  You can bend the AB stalks to fit, or just find an earlier non-AB set to fit properly.

If it's a later E36, that's called a slip ring.  In that case...Ebay is your friend.
