E30 4 Lug Wilwood BBK
« on: April 16, 2013, 04:59:09 PM »
We've decided to upgrade both the front and rear kits on the race car, so this BBK from UUC is now available.  Below is a pic when we installed it.  This kit is no longer available and is not their smaller, direct bolt on kit.  This was their larger race kit for 17" wheels.

All the features you want:
Floating rotors
Quick release pads
4 piston Dynalite billet calipers
Works with stock rear brakes
Works with 17" wheels, does not work with 15" wheels
Works with stock brake lines
Includes partially worn Hawk DTC60 front AND rear pads
Includes brackets, calipers, rotors, pads, hats.

$750 plus shipping.  Once I pull them off, I can confirm the weight and shipping costs.

Sweet setup - free bump for posting E30 car p0rn.

IMHO drilling & slotting are mostly for appearance's sake.  More mass=better heat sink=faster stopping with less fade.  Very little additional weight and increased strength too.
