Due Date will be Friday (March 4th) 8PM central, however I hope to have the new site up before then, and the colors will then be adapted to integrate the logo so use any colors you want. Try to use a clear background and fit the size constraints listed in the notes.
Submit as many as you want, simply post a small low res copy (500pixels wide?) here in this thread.
This will not be voted on, I will simply pick the one I feel will work best on the new site.
Important notes:
It should be rectangular. Approximately 5:1 (five times as wide as it is tall I.E. 500 wide x 100 tall), being off some is okay. I just don't want a square or super wide rectangle.
I will need all of the files used to create it (fonts, small images, etc..), and all rights to ownership of it. This way if I need to recreate it, use parts of it to create buttons, or anything else, I can. This is a deal breaker, no files, no money.
I would prefer that the logo be high res., this way should we decide on some products, it can be put on them without a lot of hassle. The higher resolution the better.
Regarding logos:
No direct copies. We don't want any company thinking that we are trying to make people think we are them. BMW logos shouldn't be used, but something similar to a roundel is safe, just don't make it the prominent feature.
