Replacing Weatherstripping
« on: January 30, 2013, 03:07:46 AM »
Hey guys,

I'm having a tough time finding a write-up on how to replace both the interior and exterior weatherstripping on a '92 318i vert. Any takers?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I've pried off the outer door weatherstripping - I just used a medium putty knife wrapped with an old t-shirt.  I was very careful to only pry straight up, starting about 2-3" in from the corners.  As for the rest, I'm unsure.  Haven't had a 'vert yet...

Thanks, DesktopDave! I'll give that a try. Any idea how to re-install? I'm sure it's simple, but I've never done it before and can't find a step-by-step anywhere...
